Comptroller Biography: Michael Morgan is the
Secretary of the Department of Administration. He was appointed
to this position by the governor of Wisconsin in 2006.
Previously, Mr. Morgan served as Secretary of the Department of
Revenue and participated in development projects for the City
of Milwaukee. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin
at Madison.
Responsibilities: The Department of
Administration explores the fiscal impact of various state
issues and provides the governor and state legislators with
analysis and alternative recommendations. It coordinates the
development of the state budget with various agencies, oversees
gaming and the maintenance of state buildings, and provides
support to various state agencies.
